Missions Support
Tree of Life financially supports many missions and Christian organizations around the world. Additionally we have sent members to New Orleans to assist in the Hurricane Katrina clean-up efforts, and provided financial support to members participating in short-term missions trips in foreign countries. Closer to home, we have adopted Owen Academy at Pelham, a Detroit public school, and we are providing assistance and transportation to and from church to interested students.

ChristianVolunteering.org is a free search engine of thousands of volunteer & short-term missions opportunities and organizations that are serving under-resourced communities. The basic idea is that it works similar to job matching sites like Monster.com, except that volunteers search for and are matched to volunteer opportunities. Theirr national partners include Gospel.com, the Salvation Army, the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions, Christian Community Development Association, Here’s Life Inner City (Campus Crusade), World Vision and many others.
